Fennovoima is a nuclear power company established in 2007. Our power plant will be constructed in Pyhäjoki, Northern Ostrobothnia. Quality Control (QC) Manager, Quality Department

As QC Manager in the Quality department you are responsible for organization of quality control. You are responsible for quality control during the manufacturing, installation and commissioning phases and during the operation of the plant. You coordinate the quality related activities with the supplier and sub-suppliers, Fennovoima inter-discipline colleagues and Safety Authorities. You also follow up quality and schedule during the operations. You will ensure and in case of need, train suppliers to follow requirements and safety culture principles during the whole process.

Your tasks include e.g.

  • Coordination of planning and guiding of quality control
  • Coordination of inspections in sub-suppliers and at the site
  • Coordination with Safety Authorities
  • Organization of evaluation and approval of manufacturing and quality procedures
  • Coordination of qualification of inspection methods
  • Participation in supplier evaluation and technical assessment audits

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
  • 10 years of inspection experience leading quality control of machines, components and in the field of their manufacturing, of which 3 to 5 years in Nuclear field is appreciable
  • Exposure to technical audits and supplier assessment
  • Experience in material assessment and certificates
  • Knowledge of destructive / non-destructive methods in accordance with European norms
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant design, YVL guide requirements and awareness in nuclear safety culture
  • Knowledge of in-service inspection according to ENIQ
  • Good English and Finnish skills, Russian is an advantage
